Thank you for your interest in Whitewater Church of England Primary School, we hope that this website provides you with all of the information that you need.
We are continuing to develop and work on our website so be aware that some pages may be awaiting content.
Whitewater is a wonderful country village primary school with many strengths - we are very proud of our children and their achievements. The school has a caring, Christian ethos, based on the development of each and every individual.
A broad curriculum is delivered by an experienced staff of highly committed teachers and assistants. In addition to gaining curriculum skills, such as language, mathematical, scientific and technological skills, we aim that your child will build confidence, develop independence, learn to make considered decisions and develop resilience to enable them to be fully equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for their journey through every sector of their schooling and into the real world. We attach great importance to the development of children's social skills, seeking to enable them to build relationships with other children and adults, to be sensitive to the feelings, be inclusive and recognise the needs of others.
We believe that a strong relationship between school and home is essential to pupils' progress. We will provide frequent opportunities to keep you informed about the ways in which we are supporting the learning for your child and we are always keen to have parental involvement at all levels.
Choosing a school for your child is an important task, a process that generates many questions. Whilst we have worked hard in this website to create a flavour of the school, nothing can replace the opportunity of looking around and seeing the learning in action. There are specific Open Days and an Open Evening if you are considering the school for your child starting in Reception. Please contact the school office or look on the website in September for the dates. If you are considering Whitewater for a child of a different age and would like to make a visit to the school please contact the school office who will be pleased to arrange an appointment to tour the school. A link to the school's contact details can be found here.
