Pause for thought...

Good Morning  All!

Please take some time today to pause for thought and think about  and CELEBRATE  the challenges that you have set yourself  and managed to complete or do  (such as standing up on your paddle board - way to go Esme!)  since the beginning of the lockdown. You might also like to consider setting yourself some 'new' targets - have you learned all your number facts yet , for example :)? We would love to hear all your proud thoughts and goings on!

Hi Mrs L and Mrs B We have set quite a lot of challenges for this month one is bike riding 100 kilometres in June so far we have done 30.1 kilometres. We go to Rotherwick up Tylney hill through Rotherwick park and golf club and then down the hill past the school and then go through the fields back home. I am also doing coding in Roblox studio and scratch we are doing scratch 1st and then moving to Roblox studio and Roblox studio uses coding called lua. I am following a 6 hour online corse to learn lua. My sister is leaning crochet.

Hi Ela, learning to play the ukelele is no mean feat - well done. Perhaps you will play to us when we are all back together? It would be great if you could record you and your dad playing together. Great to hear you have taken up the challenge to stay active and go out on bike rides. Have a good day!

Morning James, setting a 100km target is impressive and so is how much you have already achieved and it's only 10th June! Learning a new computer programming language (lua) is a fantastic challenge to have set yourself - we look forward to hearing more about what it can do. It sounds very interesting. Crocheting is another great skill and past time. You and your family have got some brilliant achievements to celebrate - well done!

Hi Mrs L and Mrs, I have been learning Spanish as well as French. We have bought a kayak so that I can go on the paddle board on my own! From Esme

Hola Esme! Que tal? Estupendo! Estamos muy contentos de que hayas decidido aprender español también. As you know, Mrs Laurie loves Spanish too and is looking forward to having another lunchtime club again soon. It's great to hear that you can have the paddle board all to your self now, especially since you have mastered the tricky bit of standing up! Take care,

Hi everyone!!! I’m sorry I haven’t written on the blog sooner. We have been very busy this week as we have been going for a walk almost everyday. My family and I all set ourselves challenges at the beginning of lockdown. I have been trying to earn pocket money for ( if we are allowed) going on holiday next year. Another challenge that I want to finish is re-reading some of my favourite books in my bookshelf by the end of lockdown. Stay safe, stay healthy and have fun From Isabella
