Hair and Pheasant Raising!

Say  Good Morning  to Zachary's long-awaited pheasant chicks!

Don't they look gorgeous and doesn't Zachary look very proud?! Thank you for sending in the photograph Zachary.

Can you remember the last time you had a haircut and/or went to the hairdressers?

Mrs Laurie is definitely in dire need of a substantial haircut and has noticed that many  previously  precisely-shaved and shaped undercuts are looking more like rain forest understory topped by heavy canopy with the odd emergents!

How hirsute are you? (A word that some of you might not know or recognise or can even say with any real confidence… yet!)

How are you looking and feeling about your hair these days ? Do let us know!

Have a good day!

Hi, that chick is called pidove. Noah called his chippy, luke's is called flutter and my mum and dad's is called red wine. I don't need a hair cut because my mum did mine. From Zachary

Good morning, I like my hair long and I'm happy it's growing again. I will never cut it short again though because I like tying up my long hair. Stay Safe From Ela

We may have a little surprise coming tomorrow for Mrs L Mrs B and Mrs Fox and it is a c... Try and figure it out.It starts with c and has four letters.

Dear Mrs L & Mrs B, (and Hi to Zachary's chicks!!) My mum has given me a haircut using the kitchen scissors!!!! It looks fine .. and I don't mind going out in public !! ha ha! She had to use Dads beard trimmer to cut his hair last night! We are looking forward to going back to see our hairdresser Zoe and wonder what she will make of Mum's home haircuts! From Jake

Hi Fox Class! I am missing you all very much. Reading your blogs has made me smile - I can almost hear your voices! Zachary, the chicks are so sweet and the names are brilliant! Enjoy taking care of them! My family has been very brave and let me cut their growing locks! It's amazing how fast hair can grow! Take care Foxes 🙂

Hi Zachary, cute and interesting names for your chicks - especially your mum and dad's! You are lucky that your mum can look after your hair - it's perhaps the shortest haircut that you've had!

Hi Ela, Have you measured how long it is now? You used to have very long hair (that you 'donated' to charity) and it sounds like you are really pleased that it's getting long again. Enjoy!

Hi there James, you are sounding quite wild and woolly (like Mrs Laurie!) We hope for your sake that there is nothing lurking in that shrub layer! Oooooh! That delivery sounds very interesting. Mrs Laurie hopes that it has also got a 'k' in it! Take care

Great to hear from you Oliver, you sound very relaxed about the whole hair issue - good for you! You never know, you might decide to grow it long from now on. Have a good day!

Wow Jake - you clearly trust your mum! It sounds like your hairdresser might be coming up against some tough competition from your mum these days - "Salon Edwards". Take care - lovely to hear from you.

Hi everyone, My Mum has cut my hair 3 times since lockdown. She has shaven the sides and the back but 1 side is longer😕 and Mum’s hair is growing long like many years ago and that is how I like it. Best wishes, Johnny👦🏼 Ps. Zachary I love your chick

My hair looks like a hay stack and it is very long and Marie said it needs a hair cut and I said i don't need a hair cut.🦁🦁

Hi Johnny! 3 haircuts already, however still a little more practice needed by your coiffeuse perhaps (one side longer than the other:/)? Look on the bright side, no one outside your home will see at the moment AND practice does make perfect! Zachary's chick is a cutie! Take care and thanks for your comment.

Hi Aston - lovely to hear from you! It sounds like you would like to put a big 'Hands Off' sign on your 'mane' of long flowing locks at the moment! Keep us updated on how these delicate negotiations are going ... :)
