Life is a mystery

Wednesday 24th June 2020

Good morning everyone,

School is still very strange without all of you here, I am currently writing reports and remembering what it was like in class with my Hedgehogs!

Life is a mystery, we never know everything, we are always learning something new and each day is an opportunity to do so. Each day I am learning, and I will continue to do so every day of my life. I wonder what you have learned over lockdown? What could you teach me? Do you know any special facts about anything and everything? What is something I don’t know about you?

I agree with Mr Ralph, we never stop learning. I have enjoyed spending time sitting in my garden during lockdown and have been learning about the different birds we see. We have a bird table and as we watch the birds come to feed and chase each other away, it is easy to see where the phrase "pecking order" comes from! It is not always the biggest birds who are in charge and some birds are much better at sharing than others!

Hi Mr Ralph, we’ve watched a lot of films in lockdown and one of our favourites is Clash of the Titans (the old one.) We’ve learnt about the Greek Gods and Greek mythology and how some of the stars got their names too! Bertie and Daniel

Hi Mr Ralph, did you know that ants and wasps are related? Do you know what clinodactyly means? I have it on my little finger. It is baking hot today. Stay safe. From Ethan.
