Butterflies in Books

Dear Otters,

Today our daily activity is making butterfly symmetry paintings and this made me think about all the different books that have butterflies in them. Dear Otters, One of my favourite butterfly books is 'The Story of the Butterfly Children' by Sibylle von Olfers, pictured above. I love the gorgeous illustrations and the gentle story. Love from, Ms Lamble

Hello Ms Lamble and my friends, I have a book about insects and it has butterflies in it on page 4 and 5. It tells you all about butterfly’s life. Love from Olivia (and Zachary) xxx 🦋😘

Dear Ms Lamble, My favourite book with a butterfly in it is 'Monkey Puzzle' by Julia Donaldson, where the helpful butterfly tries to help the baby monkey find its mother. The surprise is when the butterfly realises that the baby monkey looks just like its parents. Lots of love from Freya xoxoxoxoxox
