The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Dear Otters,

I'm so glad you enjoyed your mini-beast hunt yesterday. Our mini-beast hunt in school was not very successful - we only found some flies and a few ants! We're waiting to do another hunt after we've had some rain, in the hopes we might find a few more creatures.

I'm so excited that we're reading 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' today as it's one of my favourite books. I wonder if you can answer these questions in the comments below:

On which days did the Very Hungry Caterpillar eat an ODD number of foods?

On which days did he eat an EVEN number of foods?

Hello Ms Lamble and my friends, I’ve enjoyed listening to the story. Caterpillar ate even number of foods on Tuesday and Thursday He then ate odd numbers on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Love from Olivia (and Zachary) xxx 😘🥰😍😇😻😻

Dear Ms Lamble, I hope you are well. I think the answer is the days of week the hungry Caterpillar ate and odd number of food were: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and he ate an even number of food on Saturday, Thursday and Tuesday. Love Leo

Hello Ms Lamble , It’s me again. I wanted to say that what I meant was than on Saturday chicken ate one of each food so 1 is odd, but altogether it was 6, so it’s even. I got a bit confused Love from Olivia (and Zachary) xxx
