Red Kites - Wednesday 6th May

Apologies for the problems with the image yesterday - I have rolled the image over to today!

Wednesday - the middle of another week. Which one thing are you going to try to do really well today?

I am going to try to breathe in really deeply on our daily walk and enjoy our surroundings. As I type this, I can hear the birds outside of my house. It is hard to always be really happy and smiling during this strange time as you might be finding that every day doing the same thing can get a little boring and we are social creatures! If anyone annoys you today just remember one thing. That person loves you very much and they are finding this situation as tricky as you are. Be kind to yourself and others and enjoy the big natural light in the sky!

Which one thing are you going to try to do really well today?

If anyone wants to be a super Mini Mr G, would you be able to ask a parent to photograph the SPaG card answers and email a copy to Mrs Fox? I am not in school today so cannot access them!

Here are some of your photos that you have sent into school:

One of Caitlin's hens - Caitlin can you tell everyone its name?
James and his sunflower!
Charlie and his sunflower!
Isla and her sunflower! Wow!
Islay's sunflower
Another one of Islay's sunflower

Hi Mr G Is the book Where The World Ends by Geraldine something. I'm not sure what her surname is but I knew the cover and her first name from when we were trying to decide our class name and because it is on the wall. Today, I'm going to try really hard on my exercise when we go out for our one exercise per day. Hope everything goes back to normal soon! From Freya

Hi, today i am going to try and get along with Zachary today because we were both grumpy and kept arguing. Today we are turning the humidity up on the pheasant eggs. Sadly the rats have eaten the wren eggs and chicks so that nest is hopefully going to come home so i can have a look as the wrens are done with it.

Hi Freya! I am so glad that you recognise it from the wall - it proves that my wallpaper of front covers does get looked at :) Absolutely correct with the name of the book. Geraldine McCaughrean was the author but that is tricky to remember. I hope your exercise went well today in the glorious sunshine and you drank lots of water too!

Hello Erin - not a problem. As long as you know your 14 and 17 times tables off by heart then I will not give you a virtual reminder about our behaviour steps :) Let me know if you have any other problems and I can take a look at it.

Hi Luke, how was today? I am sure it went well and you were thoughtful. It is hard in some ways being with the same people all day every day again and again especially in these circumstances. That does not mean that we do not love the people around us, quite the opposite. Those pesky rats but it does mean that you get to see it.

Hi Red Kites, I am missing you all so much! Keeping busy keeps me happy. I have been painting, enjoying the garden and clearing out my cluttered cupboards. Each day I set myself a few goals, even if they are simple ones, I feel I have done well when they are complete. I have loved reading your blogs, especially if I am feeling a little sad, I can almost hear your voices and it makes me smile!

Hi Darcey - not a problem! Good to hear from you and I hope your dog enjoyed the free meal :)
