One day at a time

Friday 1st May

Good morning Hedgehogs and happy Friday. The days are blending into 1 still and it may still feel like a long time until we all get to see each other again, but each day is a day closer to all of this ending. Every hour, every minute and every second is close to the end of coronavirus! We can get through this and we will be stronger because of it. I can’t wait to see you all again.

Today is the first day in May and because of this I would like to ask for your help. I have come up with lots of daily tasks and suggested activities for you to be doing. I would like your help what activities could we do during the month of May?

Would you like to do minibeast hunts?

Scavenger hunts?

Write a story about your time in isolation?

Make an animal of forest scene out of Lego?

Make natural art?

Make a den inside your house to do secret work in?

I look forward to hearing your suggestions and the best ones will be used this month.

Hi Ethan, that is a brilliant idea my family and I played monopoly yesterday and I was thinking how to change it. What lesson do you think it would be good for? Have a good weekend, Mr Ralph.

My suggestion is that on VE day, we will do a little party on our front garden and later on in the evening we are going to build a campfire as no bonfires were allowed during the 6 years of wartime. We are going to toast marshmallows on the campfire and build a tent to snuggle in and sing old songs from the war and listen to old music. We are also going to dress up in red, white and blue. It will be a fun day. From Beau
