Monday 20th April Blog

Monday 20th April 2020. Welcome blog.

Hello Hedgehogs,

I am very excited to introduce this new class blog. This will be the place where we can stay in contact with each other, where you can upload any amazing things you have been doing during your time away from school and a place where you can ask questions. I really look forward to using it and hearing all about your lives and the great things you have been doing.  For suggested tasks and activities please see the main class page.

Happy  Monday Hedgehogs.

How are you? I’ve missed teaching you so much.  How are you getting on with your learning activities? Have you had a go at the Lego Challenge? I hope you have had time to practise those times tables and spellings. I am excited to see what you all upload and share with others. Have you been keeping fit with Joe Wicks or just enjoying your time outside in the sun?

In this time of uncertainty it is hard to always see the positives but I want you to try and think of one good thing everyday. Easter is a time for celebration how was your Easter? What did you do with your family? I spent the day with all of my family, having a really nice BBQ and sitting out in the sun with my dog for hours. It is really nice sometimes to slow down and appreciate the world around us.

I hope you and all of your family are all still safe and well. I look forward to hearing from you.

Goodbye for now,

Mr Ralph

Hi Mr Ralph, I hope you are okay and I am glad to hear you had a lovely Easter. We made a holiday at home and went camping in the garden. It was great fun but one of our dogs ate our Easter eggs and was sick in the tent! I have been spending time with my family and dogs, have been on lots of walks and bbq's and doing my Cheerleading practice, this week I won first place in my squad for my video challenge and 3rd overall in the whole of Wolverines! That made me very happy. When Coronavirus is over I can't wait to see you again. What is your dogs name? Love Rosie xx

Hello Hedgehogs! Sounds like you have all been keeping busy! It is great to hear about all your achievements - learning to ride bikes, cheerleading, cub badges, raising money for NHS and more! Wow! Also lovely that so many of you are enjoying spending time with your families and pets. One of my achievements is that I have officially done the most Joe Wick's PE sessions out of everyone in my household! I have also been busy helping my two children with their home learning, cooking, planting, going on bike rides and discovering new places to go on walks near home. Look forward to hearing more on this blog and seeing you all when we return. From Mrs Owen
