Thursday Thunk

Dear Otters,

Wow, wow, WOW! You have come together to write a very beautiful peace poem. Thank you to all of you for having a go. Remember to check our class page on VE Day to see it completely finished.

I was so happy to hear from a few Otters who haven't commented on the blog before - hello and welcome! I'd love to hear more about what you've been up to, so feel free to leave me a non-Thunk-related message in the comments.

As today is Thursday we have a new Thunk. I can't wait to hear what you think!

Could you get some sky into your pocket?

Love from,

Ms Lamble

P.S. Apologies that the class page and blog have been updated a little later than usual today - I didn't have any Internet this morning!

REMINDER: As tomorrow is a bank holiday there won't be any suggested daily activities or blog posts on our website.

I don't think so because you can't go in an aeroplane and stick your pocket out the window as aeroplanes have windows that don't open up. ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣

Dear Lola, What about if you got a really, really, really long stick with a grabber on the end? Could you get some sky into your pocket? Love from, Ms Lamble

If it rains, you can go outside and catch the rain in your pocket,

Dear Amelie, Hello! It's so wonderful to hear from you. I hope you enjoyed your birthday, I hear you had a zoom party! I agree you could catch rain in your pocket, but is rain part of the sky? Love from, Ms Lamble

Hi Ms Lamble and Otter class I just wanted to let you know that last week my Mummy had a baby. I have new baby sister called Florence Mabel Hobday. She is really cute and loooks like me! Baby Florence was a bit poorly so Harry and I had to wait a week for Mummy to come from hospital with her to meet her but we are so happy she is home now. Miss you Ms Lamble and hope you and your cats are Ok. Isla xx

Dear Isla, CONGRATULATIONS! What absolutely wonderful news. I'm so glad to hear mummy and Florence are doing well. Florence is very lucky to have such a brilliant big sister. I miss you lots and lots. Percy and Wilbur are doing well and enjoying the sunshine. Love from, Ms Lamble

build up 10 thousand ladders and grab it and put in your pocket but the question is will 10 thousand ladders do to reach up to the sky
  • Ms Lamble 3 years ago
Dear Sylvi, I'm so glad you like it :-) Yes, you are fine to share the poem as it doesn't have any identifying features on it. If you would like a larger version of the file you can email Mrs Fox and I'll get it sent out to you. Love from, Ms Lamble

Dear Jacob, It's so lovely to hear from you :-) I hope you're enjoying your home learning. I like your idea about the ladders. I think we would need to know how tall your ladder is before we work out if ten thousand of them would reach the sky! Love from, Ms Lamble
