Hello Ms Lamble! Over the holidays, I have been working on two beavers' badges. I enjoyed the science experiments one. I liked making slime! What have you been doing? Love, Leo

Hello Ms Lamble, we've had a great Easter and hope you have too! I am missing Otters. We just did the sound effects lesson and we loved it. I like the body percussion video too and I am experimenting with table percussion. I found a little duckling running around in my backyard on Thursday and it is so cute, so we decided to keep it safe because the chickens were pecking it and the mother duck had gone away. We tried to look for its nest but we couldn't find any so we put it in a box at night time and under a crate outside in the sun on the grass in the day time with water and chick food. One of our hens has hatched out 5 chicks. The bantam chick and the brown chick are really tame and I can catch them and stroke them. When I opened my hands to try to put the bantam chick down, it didn't hop off. It just sat there and curled up in my hands and looked at me. lots of love from Freya xxxxxxxxxx (dictated by Freya, typed by mum!)

Dear Ms Lamble, we have been doing a lot of baking recently and we made our own pasta yesterday using flour and eggs. It was very tasty and we had it with parmesan cheese. I have been reading a collection of how to train your dragon books and right now I am on book number 10. There are 12 in the set. I think they are really good so far and they are very interesting. Daddy got us a new explorers kit recently and a fire steel so we have been exploring nature and we made a few campfires on Daddy's slate with hay. I haven't made a fire yet but Ray has. Be careful when you make fires and we only do it with a grown up. But it would be handy to make a fire if you were lost in a forest or jungle to see in the dark, to keep yourself warm and keep nocturnal animals away like foxes. You can cook food on fire, I would cook pasta on there because I like it. I did lots of crafts including making an Easter bunny and Easter chick cardboard box hat (the chick was for Ray and the bunny was for me). Today we went for a walk and we collected loads of heart shaped rocks and called them hope rocks and wished with them. Love from Sylvi xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Ms Lamble, I am missing you lots! I have been walking almost every day over Easter.. sometimes 5km sometimes 6km, I have walked over 110km in total! We have been having lots of fun in the garden and reading lots of books. The Easter bunny brought me Awful Auntie and Slime by David Walliams and every day I have been listening to David’s audio books online. I have been doing lots of arts and crafts including decorating pebbles and painting rainbow fridge magnets. Harry and I have been hiding our crafts on country walks for other people to find. I am enjoying writing letters and sending pictures to my cousins and my nanny and grandad in the post. Love Isla xxx
