  • International Dot Day

    International Dot Day

We have all enjoyed listening to the story 'The Dot' by Peter H. Reynolds and creating our own dot art. This encouraged them to 'make their mark' and reminded us all that a simple dot can be the start of something beautiful. It was a joyful celebration of art, imagination and confidence.

  • Malcolm !

    Malcolm !

Today, we had a special visitor in our classroom- Malcolm the perfect pet, who came along with Mr Norton. The children were excited to meet Malcolm and learn all about how to care for a pet. Mr Norton kindly spoke to the class about the responsibilities of pet ownership, including feeding, grooming, and showing kindness to animals. We even learned some fun pet facts -dogs like carrots, but not grapes! The visit sparked lots of interest, and the children enjoyed talking about their pets and asking thoughtful questions. It was a wonderful hands on learning experience that encouraged empathy and care for living things.

  • Who lives in my house

    Who lives in my house

As part of our personal and social development activities, the children have been sharing stories about their families and people who are special to them. Using stones, they created imaginative representations of their homes and family members. They were all very good at expressing their thoughts and feelings. This was a great opportunity to celebrate the diversity of family life in our community.

  • Woodland Walk

    Woodland Walk

As part of our ongoing outdoor learning experiences, the children have been enjoying woodland walks where they collect natural items such as leaves, twigs, stones and acorns. These nature treasures spark curiosity and lead to rich discussions about their textures, colours, shapes and origins. Through this hands on activity, rabbit class hae been developing observation skills and deepening their appreciation for the natural world around them.
